Samuel R. Gorelik, DPM

Dr. Gorelik is a recent graduate from Saint Vincent Hospital and Massachusetts native. He grew up in Dedham and Sharon, MA. Growing up he was always interested in outdoor activities. You can find him skiing in the wintertime, hiking in the fall and spring, and swimming in the summer. He also played baseball, basketball and tennis growing up.

What interests him about Podiatry is that having foot pain can prevent people from performing their everyday activities. Seeing how a Podiatrist can change the way someone feels over one visit, made him realize the impact he can have on someone’s life.

In his free time he spends time outside or going to a local movie theater. He also enjoys frequenting family-owned restaurants and supporting local businesses. He is a big Boston Red Sox fan. Growing up as the son of immigrants, he also speaks Russian and understands it well.

From his training at Saint Vincent Hospital, He has developed an interest in Wound Care, along with staying up-to-date with modalities such as percutaneous surgeries and arthroscopy. Clinically, he sees the value in using other modalities like shockwave, laser treatment and orthotics to treat a variety of modalities prior to considering any surgical intervention.

Dr. Gorelik was the Resident Board Member on the Massachusetts Foot and Ankle Society and he continues to be active in the Podiatric community. He participates in the training of the Residents at Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center.

Dr. Samuel R. Gorelik received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He continued his education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He is currently completing his Residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA.
